Asiya Clarke

Biography…

Asiya is exhibiting in Luton at the Departure Lounge from 4th Oct to 2nd Nov, 2-6pm Thur-Sat. www.departure-lounge.org.uk.
Her work is influenced by nature and our search for meaning. Current paintings catch in a spilt second what the eye cannot see. These abstract images become subjected to her personal interpretation, a playful attempt to make sense of things.

She is an MA graduate from Goldsmiths College, where she was focusing on sculpture made from recycled materials. She now lives in Luton where she works from her studio and offersdrawing and painting tuition.
